Technical notes
A server component, no hooks. The overlap is built with a reversed flex row (row-reverse and a negative margin-right), so the left tile lands above the right one without a z-index on every element. The tiles are rounded squares rather than circles: product logos are almost always square, and a circle clips them. Each tile hue is derived from the name with an FNV hash, so a set of technologies is coloured consistently and without a hand-written dictionary. The overlap amount is exposed through the overlap prop and substituted into a variable in pixels. The stack is decorative and marked aria-hidden; the meaning is carried by the row of names.
