A vertical member stack for a narrow column: it grows downwards and takes the width of a single circle instead of breaking the sidebar with a horizontal row.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

Technical notes
A server component, no hooks. The overlap is built with column-reverse and a negative margin-bottom, so the upper circle lands above the lower one without a z-index, and the first name in the list stays first from the top — the reading order matches the data order. The size and the overlap amount are tied to one pair of variables and switched by the data-size attribute, so sm, md and lg keep the same density. The circles are decorative and marked aria-hidden: the meaning is carried by the counted caption. There is no surface by default: the column sits on the page background, and the palette is built on light-dark() and follows the surrounding color-scheme.
