FAQ
- How do I add Destructive Choice Toast with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Destructive Choice Toast depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Destructive Choice Toast?
- Adapt: the heading through title and the explanation through message; the button captions through keepLabel and deleteLabel; the outcome text through keptResult and deletedResult. Keep as installed: the visual weight of Delete — a danger-tone fill, not the same neutral button as Keep; role="alert" with aria-live="assertive": a destructive question must reach a screen reader without any action; showing the outcome after the choice instead of the card vanishing instantly.
- Is Destructive Choice Toast free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-toast-017-* variables. Client-side: "use client". The decision is kept in useState with three values — pending, kept, deleted — and on a choice the card does not close itself but switches its content to an outcome line: the buttons are replaced by the text of the decision. The card is declared role="alert" with aria-live="assertive" throughout, because a question about deletion has to be heard at once. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(), while the background prop replaces only the card surface; the fill of the destructive button is computed from the tone through color-mix, so the danger prop repaints both the label and the button surface in a single line.
