Technical notes

Client component: useState holds the selected value in order to update the dot and the caption in the trigger tile. The real <select> is stretched over the whole trigger area through position:absolute;inset:0 and opacity:0 — the click, the keyboard and the system list stay the browser's, as in select-003. The dot colour is taken from data-tone on span[data-part=dot], and the tone variables themselves are declared on the block root. The trigger is marked aria-hidden — the accessible name is carried by the select itself. The palette lives in --vibeui-select-011-*.
