Technical notes
Client component: useState holds the selected quantity, and the option list is built from the stock count with a maxOption ceiling — options above the stock do not physically exist rather than being disabled on the option. The caption under the field is marked role="status" and states the exact stock, switching its tone through data-tone to "warn" when the stock is at or below lowStockThreshold and to "danger" at zero. When the stock is zero the select is disabled and shows a single "—" placeholder. The palette lives in --vibeui-select-026-*.
