Event Timeline
An event timeline: the line is the event's own border, so it runs dot to dot and never juts past the last one.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the events array and their states
- the accent through the accent prop
- the completed-step colour through the done prop
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Event Timeline with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Event Timeline depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Event Timeline?
- Adapt: the events array and their states; the accent through the accent prop; the completed-step colour through the done prop. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-timeline-001-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the line as the event's border: a separate column always overshoots the last dot; distinct dot shapes: filled, ringed and hollow — state is not colour alone.
- Is Event Timeline free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/timeline-001.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-timeline-001-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The line is the list item's left border, transparent on the last one. The state is set with data-state: done is a filled dot, current is a ring, upcoming is a hollow dot and muted text.
