Typed Events
An event feed where the type is recognised by its glyph: an inline SVG in a tile tinted with the type's hue, plus a type label for screen readers.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the heading through title
- the events through events: kind, title, note and time
- the set of types: add a line to KIND_PATH, KIND_LABEL and a hue rule; the labels are overridden through the kindText prop
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Typed Events with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Typed Events depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Typed Events?
- Adapt: the heading through title; the events through events: kind, title, note and time; the set of types: add a line to KIND_PATH, KIND_LABEL and a hue rule; the labels are overridden through the kindText prop. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-timeline-006-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the hidden type label: neither the tile colour nor the glyph reaches a screen reader; the type hue in the single --vibeui-timeline-006-hue variable — otherwise four types become four rule sets.
- Is Typed Events free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/timeline-006.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-timeline-006-* variables. Server component: no hooks. The tile colour is set by the single --vibeui-timeline-006-hue variable, which is overridden by a rule on the row keyed to the data-kind attribute: four types cost four lines of CSS instead of four rule sets. The icons are inline SVG paths in the KIND_PATH object, so no icon library is needed. The type name is duplicated as text hidden with clip-path: colour and shape are not read aloud. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the block has no surface by default, it sits on the page background and darkens along with it.
