Unsaved Changes
An unsaved-changes fork: three outcomes, because "stay" must not be dropped for the sake of two tidy buttons.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- title and text — the heading and the explanation of the fork
- saveLabel, discardLabel and cancel — the labels of the three outcomes
- triggerLabel — the opener label

FAQ
- How do I add Unsaved Changes with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Unsaved Changes depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Unsaved Changes?
- Adapt: title and text — the heading and the explanation of the fork; saveLabel, discardLabel and cancel — the labels of the three outcomes; triggerLabel — the opener label. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-alertdialog-003-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; light-dark() in the palette: the component has to follow the surrounding color-scheme rather than ship a dark theme of its own; the opaque dialog surface: a modal sits above the page and has to cover it, so it cannot be transparent.
- Is Unsaved Changes free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/alertdialog-003.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-alertdialog-003-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of opening the dialog. The three outcomes are laid out as stacked buttons, the destructive option is styled as a secondary button, and closing on Escape is equivalent to "stay".
