Dialog

Destructive Dialog

A dialog for irreversible deletion: a list of what disappears instead of the line "all data". Specifics are the only thing that makes people stop.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • id — one per dialog on the page
  • the title, description and button copy
  • losses — what will disappear

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Destructive Dialog with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Destructive Dialog depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Destructive Dialog?
Adapt: id — one per dialog on the page; the title, description and button copy; losses — what will disappear. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-dialog-002-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-destructive, bg-background and the like); the list of losses: "all data will be deleted" does not stop anyone, three concrete lines do; the popover mechanism: popovertarget and popover="auto" supply Esc and click-outside.
Is Destructive Dialog free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/dialog-002.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-dialog-002-*. Opening is held by the HTML popover: Esc, the outside click, ::backdrop and the top layer come from the browser, and there is no client code. The window lives in the top layer and is therefore styled through the [data-vibeui-dialog-002-window] attribute and receives the palette through its own style — inheritance by nesting does not work there. The role is alertdialog.
