Step Drawer
A multi-step drawer instead of one long form: one question at a time, a bar showing what is left, and a Back button that steps back rather than closing the panel.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- title — the drawer heading and its accessible name
- the steps array: step heading, explanation and choices
- triggerLabel and finishLabel — the trigger and final button wording

FAQ
- How do I add Step Drawer with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Step Drawer depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Step Drawer?
- Adapt: title — the drawer heading and its accessible name; the steps array: step heading, explanation and choices; triggerLabel and finishLabel — the trigger and final button wording. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-drawer-008-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; separate Back and Close: in a wizard these are different operations and must not share a button; segments instead of a percentage: there are few steps, and a whole number beats a fraction.
- Is Step Drawer free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/drawer-008.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-drawer-008-*. Client component: "use client"; useState holds the step number, useId the name of the radio group, useRef showModal and close. The step bar is built from segments and declared role="progressbar" with aria-valuenow. The choices are radio buttons, and the selected card is highlighted through :has(input:checked).
