Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-alertdialog-006-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; light-dark() in the palette: the component has to follow the surrounding color-scheme rather than ship a dark theme of its own; the opaque dialog surface: a modal sits above the page and has to cover it, so it cannot be transparent.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-alertdialog-006-* variables. Client-side: "use client" for the sake of the request state. While waiting, the buttons are disabled and the cancel event is intercepted, so Escape does not abort the request midway. The demo outcome is driven by a timer and is replaced by a real request.
