How do I add Copy Button with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Copy Button depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Copy Button?
Adapt: value — what gets copied; label and doneLabel; hold — how long the report stays. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-button-015-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the try/catch around clipboard: a false "copied" is worse than silence; the report inside the button rather than a toast in another corner.
Is Copy Button free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-button-015-* variables. Client component: "use client". Writing to the clipboard goes through navigator.clipboard in a try/catch: on a refusal the state does not change, because a false "copied" is worse than silence. The reset timer is cleared on unmount. The label is declared aria-live="polite".
