Button
Notification Badge
A counter over the corner of the button: the number lands in both the badge and the aria-label, large values collapse into 99+, and zero removes the badge entirely.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the button name through the label prop, which goes into the aria-label with the number
- the value through the count prop, computed by your app
- the collapse threshold through the cap prop
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Notification Badge with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Notification Badge depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Notification Badge?
- Adapt: the button name through the label prop, which goes into the aria-label with the number; the value through the count prop, computed by your app; the collapse threshold through the cap prop. Keep as installed: the number in both the badge and the aria-label: a counter that is never spoken does not exist for a screen reader; the ring in the surface colour around the badge — without it the digit melts into the glyph below; collapsing large values into 99+: otherwise the badge stretches the button and breaks the row.
- Is Notification Badge free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/button-030.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-button-030-* variables. Server component: the number arrives through the count prop, the component counts nothing itself. The badge is ringed in the surface colour through box-shadow, so it does not merge with the bell. The collapse threshold is set by the cap prop. The halo is a CSS animation that is switched off entirely under prefers-reduced-motion.
