Language Picker Button
A language picker built on a real select: keyboard support, type-ahead and the native mobile list all come from the browser.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change

FAQ
- How do I add Language Picker Button with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Language Picker Button depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Language Picker Button?
- Adapt: the switcher's name through the label prop, which becomes its aria-label; the list of languages through the languages prop; the selected language through the defaultValue prop. Keep as installed: the real <select> inside: a custom menu would have to relearn the keyboard, type-ahead and the mobile list; the focus ring on the plate via :has(select:focus-visible) — otherwise it wraps only the narrow field; pointer-events:none on the chevron: without it a click on the mark does not open the list.
- Is Language Picker Button free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/button-056.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-button-056-* variables. Server component, no JS is needed at all: inside the plate stands a real <select> with appearance:none, while the globe and the chevron are drawn in CSS. Focus arrives on the select, and the outline is drawn by the plate through :has(select:focus-visible) — that is why the ring encloses the whole button. The chevron is marked pointer-events:none so that a click on it opens the list.
