FAQ
- How do I add Notify Me with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Notify Me depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Notify Me?
- Adapt: the idle and active labels through the label and activeLabel props; the lines under the button through the hint and activeHint props; the initial state through the defaultSubscribed prop. Keep as installed: the line about when the reminder arrives: 'Subscribed' without a time promises nothing; aria-pressed on the button: without it the state is inaudible to a screen reader; role=status on the line: it changes on click and has to be announced.
- Is Notify Me free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, palette in the local --vibeui-button-069-* variables. Client side: it keeps the subscription state, reports it through onChange and flips it on click. The active state is marked with data-on and aria-pressed: the border and the label take the accent, and the bell is filled with currentColor through a fill switch. The line under the button changes with the state and is announced via role=status, so the meaning is heard by a screen reader, not only seen.
