Repo Card
A repository card at an owner/name link: the owner set light, the name bold, and the language marked with both a dot and a word rather than a dot alone.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the path through owner and repo, the description through about
- the language through language and its colour through languageColor
- the counters through stars and forks
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Repo Card with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Repo Card depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Repo Card?
- Adapt: the path through owner and repo, the description through about; the language through language and its colour through languageColor; the counters through stars and forks. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-hovercard-004-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the different weights on owner and name: equal weight turns the path into mush; the language word next to the dot — a coloured dot alone says nothing.
- Is Repo Card free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/hovercard-004.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-hovercard-004-* variables. Client-side only for the sake of Escape: the handler removes focus from the trigger and the card, held open by :focus-within, closes — the reveal itself stays in CSS. The reveal rests on :hover and :focus-within of the link wrapper. The owner/name pair is set at one size but in different weights — that way it reads as a single whole while it is still clear where the name begins. The language colour arrives through the languageColor prop and is put into --vibeui-hovercard-004-lang. The link in the text is set in a monospaced font: the path is recognised by shape.
