Interface
Editor
A code editor mockup with a file tab, line numbers and syntax highlighting: lines type in cascading top to bottom via steps(), characters appear in discrete jumps, and a cursor blinks after the last line.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the line content via the lines prop: an array of tokens with text and highlight type
- the tab file name via fileName
- the accent color via accent to match your brand
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Editor with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Editor depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Editor?
- Adapt: the line content via the lines prop: an array of tokens with text and highlight type; the tab file name via fileName; the accent color via accent to match your brand. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-code-block-anim-001-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the cascading line typing via steps() and the var(--ch) width — the component's signature; the blinking cursor after the last line.
- Is Editor free?
- The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/code-block-anim-001.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, palette in local --vibeui-code-block-anim-001-* variables. It takes the theme from the environment via light-dark() plus a rule for the .dark class, so it does not stay light in a dark project. Lines type in cascade: each line's width expands from 0 to var(--ch) — a ch value computed from the line's real length — through a steps() timing-function, so characters appear as discrete monospace jumps rather than a smooth sweep. All lines share one cycle: reveal, pause, instant reset and repeat, with each line's start offset via nth-child — producing an endless typing wave. Syntax color comes from the data-token attribute on each token (kw/str/fn/num/com/punct/plain). Everything stops under prefers-reduced-motion.
