Mini panel

A compact metric panel: the number spins on a digit reel until it lands on the value, while a mini sparkline next to it draws in left to right; a rainbow glow breathes under the card.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the metric title, the value, and the trend pill for your own data
  • the trend direction via trendTone (up/down) — colors the pill
  • the mini chart points via spark for a real data series

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Mini panel with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Mini panel depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Mini panel?
Adapt: the metric title, the value, and the trend pill for your own data; the trend direction via trendTone (up/down) — colors the pill; the mini chart points via spark for a real data series. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-dashboard-anim-001-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the digit-reel animation of the number (each digit is a column with a 0–9 stack riding up to the target) — do not replace it with static text; the left-to-right draw-in of the mini sparkline and the dot at the end of the line.
Is Mini panel free?
The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, palette in local --vibeui-dashboard-anim-001-* variables. It takes the theme from the environment via light-dark() plus a rule for the .dark class, so it does not stay light in a dark project. The number is not plain text: each digit sits in its own column with a stack of 0–9 that rides up until it lands on the right value; the rest of the string (space, $, %, comma) simply fades in on the same beat. The mini sparkline next to it draws left to right via stroke-dashoffset, with the fill under the line and the end dot following after. The cycle loops forever: once counted and drawn, the panel briefly fades out and counts again. The real value is duplicated as a hidden string for screen readers; the reel and chart are decorative. Everything stops under prefers-reduced-motion.
