FAQ

How do I add Comparison with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Comparison depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Comparison?
Adapt: the beforeValue and afterValue values and beforeLabel/afterLabel captions for your metric; the unit suffix for the metric type (%, K, $, etc.); the title and the period pill. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-metrics-001-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the counting up from zero via @property and counter() — not static digits; the delta pill with an arrow, colored by direction (green growth, red drop).
Is Comparison free?
The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, palette in local --vibeui-metrics-001-* variables. It takes the theme from the environment via light-dark() plus a rule for the .dark class. Both numbers count up from zero to their value through an animatable @property (CSS Houdini) and counter() — interpolation and rendering run entirely on CSS, no JS. The delta's sign and color (green growth / red drop) are computed server-side from before/after, and the delta pill pops in with a delay, as if waiting for the count to finish.
