Terminal

A terminal window: the command types character by character via steps(), then output appears line by line with an increasing delay, and after a pause the whole cycle resets instantly and repeats.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the window title via title
  • the command line via prompt and command
  • the command output via output — an array of strings

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Terminal with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Terminal depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Terminal?
Adapt: the window title via title; the command line via prompt and command; the command output via output — an array of strings. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-code-block-anim-003-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the character-by-character command typing via steps(var(--ch)) — the component's signature; the blinking cursor beside the command.
Is Terminal free?
The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

For developers

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/code-block-anim-003.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, palette in local --vibeui-code-block-anim-003-* variables. It takes the theme from the environment via light-dark() plus a rule for the .dark class, so it does not stay light in a dark project. The command types character by character: the command line's width expands from 0 to var(--ch) through a steps() timing-function, with a blinking cursor beside it. Once typed, output lines fade and rise in one by one — each line's start offset via nth-child, so the output appears with a growing delay. Then a pause, an instant reset of both typing and output, and the cycle repeats — the whole timeline runs on plain CSS with no client JS. An output line starting with ✓ is tinted with the accent success color. Everything stops under prefers-reduced-motion.
