Snippet
A code snippet card for documentation or a developer landing page: the code appears line by line and the copy button answers with a check mark. Change the code, the language and the button labels.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the code content via the lines prop: an array of tokens with text and highlight type

FAQ
- How do I add Snippet with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Snippet depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Snippet?
- Adapt: the code content via the lines prop: an array of tokens with text and highlight type; the language label via language; the accent color via accent to match your brand. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-code-block-anim-002-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the clip-path reveal with a stepped timing-function (steps()) — the component's signature; the checkmark pop effect (scale overshoot) on the demo copy.
- Is Snippet free?
- The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/code-block-anim-002.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, palette in local --vibeui-code-block-anim-002-* variables. It takes the theme from the environment via light-dark() plus a rule for the .dark class, so it does not stay light in a dark project. The code opens with a line-wide reveal: a wrapper animates clip-path from inset(0 100% 0 0) to inset(0 0 0 0) through a steps() timing-function, so the mask shifts in discrete jumps like real typing. After a pause the copy icon hides and a checkmark pops in its place with a spring overshoot, holds, and swaps back — a demo cycle driven purely by a CSS timer, with no client JS and no real clipboard copy. Everything stops under prefers-reduced-motion.
