FAQ
- How do I add Staging Banner with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Staging Banner depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Staging Banner?
- Adapt: the label through label and the explanation through note; the environment name through environment; the hatching pitch in the tape rule. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-banner-004-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the deliberate mismatch with the product UI: the hatching and monospace are the signal; the environment name in the accessible label — visible in a screenshot, otherwise never spoken.
- Is Staging Banner free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/banner-004.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-banner-004-* variables. Server-side: no hooks. The hatching is drawn with repeating-linear-gradient rather than an image, so it scales without loss. The layout is computed from the component's own width: container-type:inline-size on the root, @container on the inner shell. At narrow widths the hatching and the environment chip hide — what matters stays. The bar is declared role="note" with an accessible name that includes the environment.
