App Install Banner
An install-the-app invitation bar: an icon, a name and what it does — not an ad-like "install us" line, but the app's own card.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- appName and tagline — the app's name and what it does
- iconSrc — the app icon link; empty means the letter placeholder
- installLabel — the install button's caption
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add App Install Banner with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does App Install Banner depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in App Install Banner?
- Adapt: appName and tagline — the app's name and what it does; iconSrc — the app icon link; empty means the letter placeholder; installLabel — the install button's caption. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-banner-015-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-card, border-border and the like); the icon falling back to the app name's first letter on a missing or broken link — otherwise the invitation reads as an anonymous square; the close button appearing only together with the onDismiss handler — a bar with nothing to close it with does not need a cross.
- Is App Install Banner free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/banner-015.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local --vibeui-banner-015-* variables. The icon is an image falling back to the app name's first letter when iconSrc is unset or fails to load (the same trick as the avatar in toast-015). The close button appears only when onDismiss is passed: a bar with nothing to close it with does not need a cross. On a narrow width the text and buttons move to their own lines via @container.
