A picker with pinned favourites: the star lifts an option into a group at the top, and that group stays put while you type.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-combobox-017-* variables. Client component: the query, the value and the set of favourites live in useState. The filtered options are split into two arrays — pinned and rest — and each group is rendered under its own [data-part="caption"] heading inside a single listbox. The star is a separate button beside the option rather than nested inside it: a button inside a button is invalid and breaks the keyboard, and in meaning "to mark" and "to select" are different actions. The star has aria-pressed and a full aria-label with the name, and the option is a role="option" inside an li role="none". Both groups are wrapped in a ul role="none", so that the nested lists do not turn into nested listboxes.
