Level Menu
The last level opens a menu of sibling pages: a native popover with links and hints, the current row marked by a bar.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the path to the current page through trail and its name through current
- the sibling list through siblings — label, href and the hint text
- the menu heading through menuTitle

FAQ
- How do I add Level Menu with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Level Menu depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Level Menu?
- Adapt: the path to the current page through trail and its name through current; the sibling list through siblings — label, href and the hint text; the menu heading through menuTitle. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-breadcrumb-013-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the native popover: Esc, light dismiss and the top layer come from the browser, a hand-rolled menu has to reimplement them; the unique id and anchor-name from useId — two instances otherwise latch onto one anchor.
- Is Level Menu free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/breadcrumb-013.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-breadcrumb-013-* variables. Server component: useId is needed only for a unique popover id and a unique anchor-name, there is no client state. The menu is a native popover="auto": the top layer, closing on Esc and on an outside click, and returning focus to the button come from the browser. The position is taken from CSS anchor positioning under @supports (anchor-name), with position-try-fallbacks for the flip; where anchor positioning is unsupported the popover stays a card centred on the screen — that is a working view, not a breakage. The current row of the menu is marked both with a background and with a marker stripe on the left, so that "where am I" reads by more than colour.
