Catalog Navmenu
A catalog mega menu: category tiles with glyphs and counts, where the glyph colour is derived from the name instead of stored in data.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the tiles array: categories, hints, counts and hrefs
- the triggerLabel and footerLabel captions
- the accent through the accent prop — it colours the footer link and the focus rings

FAQ
- How do I add Catalog Navmenu with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Catalog Navmenu depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Catalog Navmenu?
- Adapt: the tiles array: categories, hints, counts and hrefs; the triggerLabel and footerLabel captions; the accent through the accent prop — it colours the footer link and the focus rings. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-navmenu-004-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-muted, text-foreground and the like); deriving the hue from the label: a category colour has to be stable, otherwise it shifts with every data edit; tiles instead of rows: with a dozen categories rows blur together, while a tile catches the eye with its glyph.
- Is Catalog Navmenu free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/navmenu-004.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-navmenu-004-*. Server-side: no hooks, the panel is a popover="auto" anchored to the navigation bar. The glyph hue is computed by the hue function: a hash of the label gives a number from 0 to 330, it goes out in the variable --vibeui-navmenu-004-hue and is substituted into oklch. The tiles are laid out by a grid with auto-fit, so their number depends on the panel width.
