Feed Skeleton
A comment feed skeleton: rows with an avatar and two lines of text, a shimmer travelling as a wave, and a flat fill under prefers-reduced-motion.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Feed Skeleton with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Feed Skeleton depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Feed Skeleton?
- Adapt: the loading caption through label; the number of rows through rows — as many as the data you expect; the avatar circle through avatar. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-card-021-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-muted, animate-pulse and the like); the prefers-reduced-motion rule that removes the shimmer entirely: on-screen pulsing is a common cause of discomfort, and slowing it down does not cure that; role="status" with aria-busy and a label: without them loading simply does not exist for a screen reader.
- Is Feed Skeleton free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/card-021.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in local variables --vibeui-card-021-*. Server-side: no hooks. The shimmer is a single @keyframes moving background-position along a gradient 300% wide; the delay is set by the row's nth-child, so the movement reads as a wave rather than a synchronous blink. Under prefers-reduced-motion the animation is removed entirely and the shapes are filled with a flat tone — a half-hearted slowdown does not help here. The root is declared role="status" with aria-busy, the label goes into visually hidden text, and the shapes themselves are marked aria-hidden.
