Technical notes
A server component, there are no hooks. Unlike the track with a beam running along it, here the whole bar is filled with a repeating-linear-gradient and travels as a whole through background-position — a "striped conveyor", one element instead of a track and a slider. The track is marked role="progressbar" with aria-busy and without aria-valuenow: an invented percentage is worse than none. Under prefers-reduced-motion the pattern freezes in place — the stripes stay visible, the movement disappears. The thickness is exposed through the height prop. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): the component has no background by default — it sits on the page background and darkens with it, while the background prop switches on a panel.
