Checkbox & toggles
Required Consent
A required tick as the gate of a form: the submit button stays off until the terms are accepted, with the reason written right beside it.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- terms and optional — the copy of the two consents
- title — the form heading
- submitLabel — the button caption and the onConfirm handler

FAQ
- How do I add Required Consent with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Required Consent depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Required Consent?
- Adapt: terms and optional — the copy of the two consents; title — the form heading; submitLabel — the button caption and the onConfirm handler. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-checkbox-013-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the sentence under the disabled button: a disabled button with no explanation reads as broken; the native required on the mandatory tick — browser validation has to work without JS too.
- Is Required Consent free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/checkbox-013.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-checkbox-013-* variables. A client component: "use client". The root is a form with onSubmit and preventDefault: submitting sends nothing and instead moves the block into the "done" state. The mandatory field carries a native required and an asterisk on the row itself, and the optional one carries an "optional" caption. The reason the button is disabled is shown as text beneath it. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the component lays no panel under itself, sits directly on the page background and darkens along with it; the background prop brings the panel back.
