Checkbox & toggles
Setting Switch
A setting toggle as a row: label and description on the left, the switch pinned to the edge. A native checkbox inside keeps keyboard and form behaviour free.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the label and description copy; without description the row becomes single-line
- align: end puts the switch on the right, start on the left for a narrow column
- the accent through the accent prop — it colours the on-state track and the focus ring
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Setting Switch with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Setting Switch depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Setting Switch?
- Adapt: the label and description copy; without description the row becomes single-line; align: end puts the switch on the right, start on the left for a narrow column; the accent through the accent prop — it colours the on-state track and the focus ring. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-switch-001-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-primary, bg-muted and the like); the <label> root and the full-width row: that is what makes it read as a settings row; the native input[type=checkbox] with role="switch": the role announces the behaviour while the state stays real.
- Is Setting Switch free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/switch-001.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-switch-001-* variables. The root is a <label>, so the target is the whole row. Inside sits a native input[type=checkbox] with role="switch" and appearance:none: the track is the input itself and the thumb is the neighbouring span, which is moved on :checked. Through the align prop the switch is moved to the start of the row, for settings in a narrow column.
