Master Group Switch
A group of switches with a shared "turn on all" master toggle: it sits in an indeterminate position when only part of the rows are on and reports the count in words.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the section title through legend and the master caption through masterLabel
- the rows, captions and initial states through items
- the counter through statusText: {on} and {total} are filled with numbers

FAQ
- How do I add Master Group Switch with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Master Group Switch depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Master Group Switch?
- Adapt: the section title through legend and the master caption through masterLabel; the rows, captions and initial states through items; the counter through statusText: {on} and {total} are filled with numbers. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-switch-012-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; setting input.indeterminate through a ref inside useEffect: React does not pass that property through props; the textual "N of M on" status — the switch role has no formal tri-state in ARIA, so a worded count is mandatory.
- Is Master Group Switch free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
A client component: useState holds the set of enabled ids, and a useRef with a useEffect sets the indeterminate DOM property on the master switch — React does not pass it through props. allOn and someOn are recomputed from items on every render, so the master switch cannot drift from the rows. The textual "N of M on" status duplicates the state in words, because a tri-state is not described by ARIA for the switch role. The palette lives in --vibeui-switch-012-*.
