Data Grid

Pinned Totals

A long grid that scrolls inside its own frame: the header sticks to the top and the totals row to the bottom, so the sum stays visible mid-list.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the line under the toolbar through caption
  • the scroll viewport height through height, in rem
  • the operations and amounts through rows

Built from

The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ

How do I add Pinned Totals with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Pinned Totals depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: card-154.
What can I change in Pinned Totals?
Adapt: the line under the toolbar through caption; the scroll viewport height through height, in rem; the operations and amounts through rows. Keep as installed: the card-154 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-datagrid-004-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the background on the sticky header and sticky totals: transparent cells let rows show through.
Is Pinned Totals free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports card-154 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The component is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, the palette in --vibeui-datagrid-004-*. Server rendered: there is no state. The height of the scroll viewport arrives as a number in rem and goes into the --vibeui-datagrid-004-height variable, so the viewport grows together with the reader's font. The header and the tfoot are pinned with position:sticky and carry a background of their own; the table is built with border-collapse:separate, otherwise the sticky cells lose their borders. The scroll container is marked role=region, aria-label and tabindex=0 — a vertical list is paged from the keyboard too. The amounts are set in tabular-nums, and an outgoing is marked with a minus sign and a colour at the same time. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the grid lays no panel under itself, it sits on the page background, while the background prop switches on a panel of its own.
