FAQ
- How do I add Selection Summary with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Selection Summary depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Selection Summary?
- Adapt: the line under the toolbar through caption; the initial fold through aggregate: sum, avg, min or max; the panel heading through heading and the picker caption through pickerText. Keep as installed: the imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-datagrid-016-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the totals label changing with the function: «Total» above an average is an outright lie.
- Is Selection Summary free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The component is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, the palette in --vibeui-datagrid-016-*. A client component: useState holds the list of ticked ids and the chosen fold function. The total lives in the tfoot and changes its label together with the function — "Total" above an average would be a lie. A row checkbox carries its own aria-label with the name of the campaign, and the totals heading is declared aria-live, so a change of selection is heard. A selected row is marked both by a fill and by a stripe on the left through an inset box-shadow. On an empty selection the numeric cells hold a dash rather than a zero: a zero reads as a computed result. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the grid lays no panel under itself, it sits directly on the page background and darkens along with it. The aggregate prop sets the starting fold and keeps acting after mounting: the reader's choice is stored alongside the prop rather than instead of it.
