Frozen Lead Column
A shift schedule with only the first column frozen: the employee name stays put while the days scroll sideways, with no second sticky edge on the right.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Frozen Lead Column with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Frozen Lead Column depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Frozen Lead Column?
- Adapt: the line under the toolbar through caption; the scrolling hint through scrollHint; the day names through days and the data through rows. Keep as installed: the imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-datagrid-030-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; freezing only the first column — a second sticky edge on the right is not needed and not added.
- Is Frozen Lead Column free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The component is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, the palette in --vibeui-datagrid-030-*. Server rendered: there is no state, everything rests on CSS. Only the first column is frozen (position:sticky, left:0) — unlike grids with two sticky edges, there is nothing to pin on the right here: what matters is the day you have scrolled to, not a totals column. The sticky cell carries a background of its own and border-collapse:separate, otherwise the scrolled days show through it and the column loses its line. The scrolling lives in a container with role=region, aria-label and tabindex=0, so it works from the keyboard. The shift code of every cell is duplicated in words in an aria-label — a coloured pill on its own is not enough. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the schedule lays no panel under itself, it sits directly on the page background and darkens along with it, and the opaque background is left only on the sticky column, in a separate --vibeui-datagrid-030-surface token.
