Data Grid

Export Confirm

A grid that exports the ticked rows behind a confirmation: a native dialog names the row count, the total, the format and the estimated file size before anything happens.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the line under the toolbar through caption
  • the primary button caption through exportLabel
  • the panel heading through heading and the counter through statusTemplate with {count} and {total}

FAQ

How do I add Export Confirm with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Export Confirm depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Export Confirm?
Adapt: the line under the toolbar through caption; the primary button caption through exportLabel; the panel heading through heading and the counter through statusTemplate with {count} and {total}. Keep as installed: the imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-datagrid-017-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the native dialog with showModal: it traps focus and closes on Escape, a hand-rolled overlay does not.
Is Export Confirm free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The component is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, the palette in --vibeui-datagrid-017-*. A client component: useState holds the selected rows, the format and the result text, and a ref holds the native dialog. showModal traps focus itself, closes on Escape and draws the ::backdrop, so no overlay of your own is needed; the dialog is given margin:auto — without it it sticks to the top-left corner. The formats are collected as radio buttons inside a fieldset; the legend carries float:left with width:100%, so the neighbouring labels get clear:both, otherwise they would wrap around the legend. The result is declared role=status. The dialog shows the total and an estimate of the size: a confirmation without figures is just an extra click. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the grid lays no panel under itself, it sits directly on the page background and darkens along with it, and the opaque background is left on the modal dialog.
