Data Grid
Batch Edit
A grid with batch editing: numeric cells become fields at once, a log shows «before → after» with per-entry undo, and one save covers the whole draft.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the line under the toolbar through caption
- the mode toggle caption through editLabel
- the panel heading through heading and the counter through editsTemplate with {count}

FAQ
- How do I add Batch Edit with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Batch Edit depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Batch Edit?
- Adapt: the line under the toolbar through caption; the mode toggle caption through editLabel; the panel heading through heading and the counter through editsTemplate with {count}. Keep as installed: the imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the local --vibeui-datagrid-021-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the split between base rows and the draft: without it you cannot show «before» or undo one edit.
- Is Batch Edit free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. The component is self-contained: one file, no npm dependencies, the palette in --vibeui-datagrid-021-*. A client component: the base rows live in one piece of state and the draft of the edits as a flat "row:field → value" map in another. That split gives three things for free: the highlighting of changed cells, a log with the original value and the undo of a single edit without losing the rest. A value that has returned to its original drops out of the draft by itself — otherwise the counter would lie. The rows are given a fixed height, so switching on edit mode does not move the table. The counter of unsaved changes is declared role=status. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(): by default the grid lays no panel under itself, it sits directly on the page background and darkens along with it. The rows prop keeps acting after mounting: the saved edits are stored alongside it rather than instead of it.
