Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, no dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-contextmenu-010-* variables. Client component: "use client" for the sake of window.getSelection() and its own open state. The selection is read in the call handler rather than during render: before the event the browser does not know what the user picked, and once the menu closes it has already been cleared. The menu is not an HTML popover but a layer inside the demo area, which has position:relative and overflow:hidden; the click coordinates are converted into that area's frame of reference and clamped by the known menu size. The applied formats do not change the paragraph's layout but are added as marks in a list below it — this shows the result of the action without actually formatting the text. The theme comes from the surrounding color-scheme through light-dark(), and the card has no background of its own by default.
