FAQ
- How do I add Danger Zone with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Danger Zone depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Danger Zone?
- Adapt: the button caption through trigger; the destructive action's name through dangerLabel; the ordinary entries through items. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-dropdown-007-* palette: the component must look the same in any project; the separate zone for the destructive action: a red item pressed against "duplicate" catches every mouse slip; the second confirmation step inside the menu — a dialog above a popover adds a second top layer and confuses Escape.
- Is Danger Zone free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/dropdown-007.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
One file, zero dependencies, the --vibeui-dropdown-007-* palette. A client component: useState holds the confirmation step, and the reset happens on the popup's toggle event — a closed menu always reopens in its original state. The danger zone is drawn as a separate block with its own surface, negative margins out to the edges of the menu and a top border, so a mouse slip past the last item of the list does not land in it. The confirmation lives in the same menu: a dialog above an open popover is a second top layer, and there is no way to dismiss them with Escape one at a time. The confirm button is tied to the question through aria-describedby. The palette is moved to light-dark(): in a dark environment the panel is lighter than the page background and its border lighter than the panel.
