Dropdown menu
Presence Menu
A status menu: the dot on the avatar mirrors the chosen status, so the state stays visible with the menu closed, and the list itself is a radio group with a note under every option.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the name through name — the initials come from it too
- the status list through statuses: value, label, hint and hue on each
- the chosen status through status and the list heading through title

FAQ
- How do I add Presence Menu with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Presence Menu depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Presence Menu?
- Adapt: the name through name — the initials come from it too; the status list through statuses: value, label, hint and hue on each; the chosen status through status and the list heading through title. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-dropdown-021-* palette: the component must look the same in any project; the dot on the avatar: it is the only thing showing the status while the menu is closed; the radio group inside its own <form> — without it two such menus on a page merge into one group.
- Is Presence Menu free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.
For developers
npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/dropdown-021.jsonThis command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options
Technical notes
One file, zero dependencies, the --vibeui-dropdown-021-* palette. A server component: the HTML popover holds the open state and CSS anchor positioning inside @supports places it. The dot's hue comes from the --vibeui-dropdown-021-hue variable set from the chosen status, so one dot serves every option. The list is a radio group inside its own <form>: radio buttons group by form owner and name, and without the form two such menus on a page would merge into one group. The group name is built from the id prop to avoid useId and stay a server component. The inputs themselves are hidden but stay in the focus order: the label draws the outline through :has(input:focus-visible) and the tick through :has(input:checked).
