Technical notes
One file, zero dependencies, the --vibeui-dropdown-004-* palette. A client component: useState holds the set of enabled items. The items are marked up role=menuitemcheckbox with aria-checked, the mark is drawn with a border and inline SVG, and the space for it is always reserved — otherwise the rows jump on toggle. The mark prop switches the look of the mark (a check or a dot) through a data attribute on the root. hidePopover is deliberately not called on a pick: settings are changed in batches. The menu footer carries the count of what is enabled and a button to reset to the starting set. The palette is moved to light-dark(): in a dark environment the panel is lighter than the page background and its border lighter than the panel.
