FAQ

How do I add Order Menu with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Order Menu depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Order Menu?
Adapt: the selected field through value and the field list through fields; the recommended field through recommended and its badge caption through recommendedText; the reaction to a pick through onChange. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-dropdown-017-* palette: the component must look the same in any project; the menuitemradio role with aria-checked and the role=group wrapper — this is a single choice, not a command list; the button's aria-label built from the current value — a text-less icon says nothing to a screen reader without it.
Is Order Menu free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes

One file, zero dependencies, the --vibeui-dropdown-017-* palette. A client component: useState holds the selected field, and aria-expanded is kept in sync with the toggle event. The trigger button is a text-less icon with an aria-label assembled from the current value; the field caption stands beside it as a separate node, so the component suits a tight toolbar. The items are marked up role=menuitemradio with aria-checked inside a role=group with aria-labelledby pointing at the "Sort by" heading. The recommended field carries a badge instead of the check mark until it is chosen; after the pick the badge gives way to the check mark. The down arrow on the button opens the menu and puts the focus on the selected item.
