Who it’s for: expanding tiles
“Who it’s for”: three tiles in a row with a giant glyph behind — “0”, “→”, “PM”. The chosen one expands threefold and shows a description and a checklist of outcomes, the rest shrink to a vertical label. Switch on hover, click and keyboard.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Who it’s for: expanding tiles with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Who it’s for: expanding tiles depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Who it’s for: expanding tiles?
- Adapt: personas: labels, glyphs, titles, texts, outcomes, notes; eyebrow, title, lede, outcomesLabel; accent and background, tone. Keep as installed: the imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the horizontal accordion: the active tile grows threefold, the rest shrink to a label; the giant glyph behind each tile.
- Is Who it’s for: expanding tiles free?
- The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone. One file, zero npm dependencies, “use client” for the active tile. A <ul role=tablist> of <li> with flex:1; the active one gets flex-grow:3 and an fg fill, a .6s cubic-bezier transition. The glyph is a span up to 12rem with opacity .12 (.22 when active). A role=tab button with aria-selected fills the tile; onMouseEnter/onFocus/onClick change the index. The panel mounts only in the active tile: a @keyframes slide-in and a --n×70ms cascade of items. Below 56rem (container query) tiles stack and the active one grows in height; from 56rem a 26rem-tall row, inactive labels in writing-mode:vertical-rl. Palette --vibeui-course-001-* is neutral: ink and paper via light-dark(), the site colours come through the accent, ink and background props; Unbounded and Inter via <link precedence> from Google Fonts with system fallbacks. tone pins the scheme, accent, ink and background override colours.
