Reader reviews as rotating notes in a page's margins
Reviews for a writer's site: a book “page” in the centre with an excerpt, a drop cap, a frame and a folio; on both sides in the margins — handwritten reader notes (Caveat), each slightly rotated and signed with a name and city. The notes rotate: every few seconds one fades and the next from the queue is written in its place. On narrow screens the notes go in a column under the page.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

FAQ
- How do I add Reader reviews as rotating notes in a page's margins with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Reader reviews as rotating notes in a page's margins depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: card-097.
- What can I change in Reader reviews as rotating notes in a page's margins?
- Adapt: eyebrow, title, lede; pageTitle, page (paragraphs), pageNumber; notes: text, name, from; visible, interval. Keep as installed: the card-097 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; visible notes count = min(visible, notes.length, 4); even slots on the left, odd on the right; setInterval marks a slot data-leaving, after 420 ms swaps the index — the new li gets a key and the enter animation; rotation via --vibeui-writer-004-r from the ANGLES array; the vibeui-writer-004-in animation keeps the same rotate.
- Is Reader reviews as rotating notes in a page's margins free?
- The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes
A composite block: imports card-097 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone.
