Seasonal calendar: 12 months as a drag-scroll ribbon

A seasonal flower calendar: twelve months as one horizontal ribbon you can drag with the mouse (drag-scroll via pointer capture), the wheel or arrows. The current month comes from useSyncExternalStore (nothing is highlighted on the server), its card gets an ink frame and a handwritten “in bloom now” tag, and the ribbon scrolls to it after hydration. Each card lists what blooms and a note on price and lifetime.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • eyebrow, title, lede
  • nowLabel — the current month tag
  • months: name, flowers, note (exactly 12, in order from January)

Built from

The install command brings these components too. The block only passes them props: their palette and behaviour stay their own.

FAQ

How do I add Seasonal calendar: 12 months as a drag-scroll ribbon with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Seasonal calendar: 12 months as a drag-scroll ribbon depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS. It also installs catalog components: card-087.
What can I change in Seasonal calendar: 12 months as a drag-scroll ribbon?
Adapt: eyebrow, title, lede; nowLabel — the current month tag; months: name, flowers, note (exactly 12, in order from January). Keep as installed: the card-087 imports from @/components/vibeui/ — do not inline their code into the block or swap in your own; the parts receive props only; the current month is useSyncExternalStore(subscribeDay, readMonth, () => null); after hydration the effect sets scrollLeft so the card is centred; drag-scroll: pointerdown sets setPointerCapture and data-drag, pointermove writes scrollLeft, touch is not intercepted — native scrolling works.
Is Seasonal calendar: 12 months as a drag-scroll ribbon free?
The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes

A composite block: imports card-087 from @/components/vibeui/ — the install command brings them along with the block. The block owns the layout and its own text, passes the parts props only and leaves their --vibeui-<name>-* palettes alone.
