Chart
Bar Chart
A bar chart made of markup: each bar's height is a percentage in a CSS variable rather than SVG. The chart stays text, so it scales and prints.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.
What you can change
- the bars array: label, value and the highlight flag
- title — the chart heading
- unit — the unit beside the values
A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ
- How do I add Bar Chart with Cursor or Claude Code?
- Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
- What does Bar Chart depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Bar Chart?
- Adapt: the bars array: label, value and the highlight flag; title — the chart heading; unit — the unit beside the values. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-chart-002-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens (bg-primary, --chart-1 and the like); the percentage-driven bar height: converting to pixels breaks whenever the plot height changes; the min-height on a bar — otherwise a zero value disappears and the data looks missing.
- Is Bar Chart free?
- Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-chart-002-* variables. The bars are ordinary elements in a flex layout; each height arrives in the --vibeui-chart-002-bar-height variable as a percentage of the maximum. The grid is drawn by a repeating background gradient on the area rather than by separate elements. The axis labels are marked aria-hidden, because every value is already read out by the hidden text inside the bar. Motion: gradient bars with a highlight grow from the base one after another, labels fade in after; hover lights the bar and dims its neighbours; reduced motion shows everything at once; animate=false turns it off.
