Pack Counter

An order counter that counts packs: the step equals the pack size, and the piece total stays visible under the field.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • label — the product caption
  • pack — the pack size, which is also the counter step
  • min and max — the order bounds

A link for your AI agent: preview, code and instructions.

FAQ

How do I add Pack Counter with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Pack Counter depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Pack Counter?
Adapt: label — the product caption; pack — the pack size, which is also the counter step; min and max — the order bounds. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-number-002-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; light-dark() in the palette: the component has to follow the surrounding color-scheme rather than ship a dark theme of its own; the transparent background by default — the component sits on the page background instead of laying a panel under itself.
Is Pack Counter free?
The preview is open to everyone; the source is available with a PRO subscription.

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-number-002-* variables. Client-side: "use client" is needed for the buttons and the recalculation. The base is stored in packs, the pieces are counted by multiplication on the fly — two independent states would drift apart after the first manual edit. At the minimum the "minus" button changes its role to removing the row (data-role="remove"), and the zero state is captioned in words rather than with the digit 0.
