Code Expiry

A code with a visible lifetime: the remainder shows as a bar and digits, and an expired code locks the cells and offers a new one.

React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

What you can change

  • the heading title and the code length through length
  • the lifetime through seconds
  • the captions through leftTemplate, expiredText and renewLabel

FAQ

How do I add Code Expiry with Cursor or Claude Code?
Press “Copy for AI” on this page and paste it into your agent's chat. The instruction contains the shadcn CLI install command, the dependencies and what to keep, so the agent installs this exact component instead of recreating a lookalike.
What does Code Expiry depend on?
No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
What can I change in Code Expiry?
Adapt: the heading title and the code length through length; the lifetime through seconds; the captions through leftTemplate, expiredText and renewLabel. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-otp-010-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; the bar together with the digits: the bar estimates, the digits are precise, either alone is worse; the locked cells after expiry — typing what will not be accepted is pointless.
Is Code Expiry free?
Yes. The preview is open without an account; with a free account you can copy up to 20 components a month.

npx shadcn@latest add https://vibeui.club/r/pro/otp-010.json

This command needs a signed link: sign in and open “Component source” below — it issues a working link valid for 30 minutes. All install options

Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, its own palette in the local --vibeui-otp-010-* variables. Client component. The remainder runs as a bar and as digits: the bar gives the instant read, the digits the precision. Half a minute before the end both recolour. On expiry the cells lock and a new-code button takes the timer's place. The ticking seconds are deliberately not announced — only the expiry is.
