Technical notes

The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-number-008-* variables. Client-side: the value and the held-Shift flag are in state. The arrow handler cancels the event through preventDefault — otherwise the browser adds its own step on top of ours and the number jumps twice. The Shift state is tracked through keydown and keyup and cleared on blur, because a key released outside the field never reaches the component. The step amounts are captioned with keys in <kbd>.
