Format Check
A phone field with format validation as you type: the border and status line change colour while the line above the field always names the expected mask for the selected country.
React + Tailwind, shadcn-compatible: press “Copy for AI” and your Cursor or Claude Code agent installs it with the shadcn CLI.

- What does Format Check depend on?
- No npm packages beyond React and Tailwind CSS.
- What can I change in Format Check?
- Adapt: the countries array — the code, flag, name and mask for each country; label — the field caption; the accent through the accent prop. Keep as installed: the local --vibeui-phoneinput-008-* palette — do not swap it for your theme tokens; two separate lines: the static mask hint and the live validation status — they are different messages; aria-live="polite" on the status line: the validation result has to be heard as you type.

Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-phoneinput-008-* variables. Client component: the country and the digits are in state. The mask hint and the format check are two different messages: the line above the field is static and names the expected shape of the number for the country, while the line under the field is live and, through aria-live, compares the number of typed digits with the expected one. The number is typed as raw digits with no auto-formatting, so that the check is not confused with mask substitution.
