Technical notes
The component is self-contained: one file, zero dependencies, the palette in the local --vibeui-phoneinput-005-* variables. Server component: useId is the only hook, there is no state. Instead of a mask it shows a sample: the example is set in a monospace face and wrapped in <samp> so that it is confused with neither the typed value nor the caption. The field does not restrict input — brackets, dashes and spaces are allowed, so a number from the clipboard is pasted without a fight. Both lines under the field are tied to it through aria-describedby by listing the identifiers, so both the sample and the note are read aloud. The pattern attribute is deliberately left out: it rejects valid numbers written differently.
